V: The Mini-Series

An entertaining and often thought provoking mega-movie that was split into two parts for its original screening.

With tremendous hair, state of the art special effects and a couple of plot twists that have since indelibly entered popular culture, V is not to be missed. Strong allegorical references to the Nazi invasions of Europe have become even more resonant with recent invasions, and the classic theme of brainwashing by media is still potent. A landmark of Sci Fi, and still tremendous fun.
