Majel Barrett the memorable Betazoid Lwaxana Troi is actually the widow of Gene Roddenberry. She had many roles in the franchise: She played Nurse Chapel in the original series (and Cmdr. Chapel in the Star Trek movies) provided the computer voice in the original series and Star Trek: The Next Generation Deep Space Nine and Voyager and is currently executive producer of Roddenberry's Earth: Final Conflict and Andromeda.

Super-sexy Jeri Ryan (Seven of Nine in Star Trek Voyager) also stars in the recent Ewan McGregor / Renee Zellweger hit Down With Love. She plays Ewan's ex-lover an air hostess named Gwendolyn.
