Star Trek: Deep Space Nine

Trivia

Until Enterprise all Star Trek sequels - The Next Generation Deep Space Nine and Voyager - had a cameo by a cast member from the preceding series. Because Enterprise is a prequel this obviously couldn't happen.

James Earl Jones was offered the role of Benjamin Sisko in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine but turned it down.

The Romulan enemy race which first appeared in the Original Series remains the only 'adversary' to have been featured on all four Star Trek series.

The first Klingon ever to rear his mean and nasty face on Star Trek was a Canadian. Stage and TV actor John Colicos played the evil Commander Kor a role he recreated 27 years later on Deep Space Nine's Blood Oath.

A guy often seen in Quark's Bar in Star Trek DS9 is named Morn - an anagram of the Cheers barfly Norm!

Gene Roddenberry was aware of plans for DS9 not long before his death in 1991 making this the last Star Trek series he was involved with.

In Star Trek DS9 it took over one hour to draw the spots on Jadzia Dax (Terry Farrell) each day.
