Galen Tyrol

The Galactica's unpretentious deck chief always stands up for the little guy, whether that means safeguarding the welfare of his enlisted crew, fighting for the human resistance on New Caprica or leading a labor action on behalf of exploited workers. With his many commitments, Tyrol has had to struggle to spend quality time with his wife, Cally, and their infant son, Nicholas (the second human-Cylon hybrid). Recently, he has experienced peculiar intuitions and heard enigmatic music in his head. The explanation for these eerie events is simple but shocking: He is one of the Final Five Cylons.

Aaron Douglas was born in New Westminster, a suburb of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. After many years spent in various jobs discovering what he did not want to do, he came across the William B. Davis Centre for Actors.

In 1998, Douglas began the year-long, full-time acting program, and by the end of the school year he had landed an agent. It wasn't long before he began to get steady work in guest-starring and supporting roles on television series and in major motion pictures.

Douglas most recently starred in the green-screen feature film Blood: A Butcher's Tale, and he has appeared in the feature films Exorcism of Emily Rose, Man About Town, Butterfly on a Wheel, X-Men 2, The Lizzie Maguire Story, Final Destination 2, The Chronicles of Riddick, Walking Tall, White Noise, Paycheck, Catwoman and I, Robot.
