The Force Unleashed Unleashed!

GAMES

Wednesday, September 3

by Captain

In the world of all things Star Wars, some of the most reliable entertainment of recent years has been provided by Lucasarts, the gaming division of the Lucas Empire.

Games are a lot like movies these days - huge budgets, (gigantic CG sequences!) and with intricate storylines and plot design. Heroes Milo And Masi Visit Sydney

NEWS

Wednesday, September 3

by Captain

Milo Ventimiglia and Masi Oka finished off their 48 hour whistle stop tour of Australia last night with an appearance at a SCI FI cocktail party, under the glow of the Sydney Opera House, on the rooftop of the Park Hyatt, Sydney. Introduced by Mike Hammond, they shared their adventures with a select few and then went on to mingle with the crowd.

Presented with specially selected didgeridoos by SCI FI's President, Peter Hudson, they joined in an impromptu jam, live on stage, with didgeridoo master, Les Saxby. Masi contributed his (as he called it) 'spit heavy' beatboxing and Milo displayed remarkable speed in picking up the basics of the world's oldest wind instrument. He also learned that chewing gum and didge playing are not compatible.

But hearteningly, he has said that the new Trek movie will be something akin to what happened with the Batman franchise, where he specifically mentioned the nipples on the bat suit.

One wonders if Nemesis or Enterprise are the Star Trek equivalent of the nipples on the bat suit.

This is one of those 'you either have or you haven't' internet things.

Although most of us have heard of Chad Vader, maybe seen one or two clips, not everyone has, and it's our duty to spread the word of all weird but excellent Star Wars fan movies.

We'll also be interviewing Chad Vader himself. In one of the universe's best moves, ever, the man who IS Chad Vader has now started to work on cool games such as Soulcalibur IV and the upcoming The Force Unleashed.

We'll soon be posting his interview, but in the meantime, though it might be a bit fun to run all eight of the Chad Vader videos, to help spread the word that is the genius behind Chad Vader - Night Shift Manager.
