SCI FI Australia to Have Its Own App: CLUSTR

News Friday, July 22 by Captain
In a bit of a first, SCI FI has announced the launch of Clustr - Australia's first branded TV check-in, social networking-enabled smartphone application.

That's right. SCI FI is getting its own App!

Called 'Clustr', it will be launched in conjunction with the premiere of Doctor Who: The Tom Baker Years, which will air on August 17th.

So what is Clustr, exactly, oh smartphone users?

Clustr is a forum for viewers to chat in real-time by checking-in to SCI FI programs such as Doctor Who: The Tom Baker Years, and the all new and all awesome Lost Girl, which airs Thursdays at 8:30pm.

Clustr users can keep track of their favourite series and/or episodes, connect, share and compete with their friends for VIP status, badges, and read episode reviews.

Read reviews, you say? What reviews?

YOUR reviews!

You will be able to upload photos and leave reviews linked to individual TV episodes. Love it, hate it - Clustr allows you to share your SCI FI experience with everyone across Australia.

This feature is unique to Clustr, and just one of the ways you can share your love for your favourite shows on SCI FI.

Peter Hudson, CEO of SCI FI Channel says, "SCI FI wants to reach our viewers with something that is one-of-a-kind, innovative and useful. The Clustr app is a lot of fun but it's also a wonderful way for us to bring our passionate community of viewers together on one platform"

EDIT - CLUSTR NOW AVAILABLE!
