Stars of Space:1999 and Star Wars in Sydney on Sunday

You may know by now that Sydney Town Hall will host a Collector's Fair/rapidly growing full-blown convention this Sunday the 21st, from 10am to (now) 5pm. Easy to get to for Sydneysiders (you know, Town Hall station) the event is already playing host to such luminaries as Star Trek: Enterprise's Dominic Keating and Doctor Who Paul McGann. There will also be a line-up of Farscape stars, including Lani Tupu and Gigi Edgely.

Two new names have been added this week, which should be sure to get a few extra Sci Fi fans along.

First up, Nick Tate, from Space:1999 and Star Trek: The Next Generation and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. Nick is an Australian acting legend, who has appeared in Fred Schepisi's film, 'The Devil's Playground','Scales of Justice', 'Sons and Daughters', and 'A Country Practice' (he also directed a few episodes of this series). Nick has also appeared in movies like 'The Coolangatta Gold', 'A Cry in the Dark', Steven Spielberg's ' Hook'. He has also appeared in episodes of 'Farscape' and 'Lost'. Fans of Space:1999 will immediately recognise him as Alan Carter.

He played alien, 'Dirgo' in the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode 'The Final Mission'. He also guest starred as Bilby, in the Star Trek: Deep Space 9 episode 'Honor Among Thieves'. Poor old Bilby. He is now one of the most sought after voice/over artists in the world - specialising in film trailers. He was also in the recent parody, 'Space:1899' that also featured Martin Landau, Barbara Bain and Catherine Schell. Looks like it's going to be an interesting day for people who attend!

Nick Tate: handsome devil, stuck on a runaway moonbase - Aussie As.

If that wasn't enough, Nalini Krishnan, who appeared in both Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith as Jedi Barriss Offee will be there!

Nalini Krishnan - in Sydney Town Sunday to give you the good oil on the George Lucas experience.
