What's On This Week Feb 8 - 14

It's a week of new beginnings and final endings. It's a week of high drama, crushed hopes and soaring dreams. It's a week where two shows end, one begins and Valentine's Day descends upon us.

Are your loins girded? Let's begin!

The big news for all SCI FI fans this week is of course the monster appearance of Sanctuary, Season Two!

The Feature-length premiere is on Thursday the 11th at 8.30pm

If you miss it, you can catch it again on Saturday the 13th at midday.

The now 158 year old Dr. Magnus continues her desperate search for Ashley, who is still held prisoner by the Cabal. Or has Ashley turned all together? With the Cabal set to unleash Lazarus and turn the worlds of normals and abnormals against each other, it's a race against the clock to avoid a supernatural apocalypse. It's gripping, heart-wrenching stuff.

If you somehow miss the first episodes, you can see them all on Spectrum, our online video player, from Sunday the 14th.

Now there's a Happy Valentine's Day!

Whilst one season two door opens, another season two door shuts - in this case, sadly, it's Eureka.

Screening just before the Sanctuary premiere, on Thursday, the Season Two Finale airs at 7.30pm. There is an encore on Friday at 9am if you miss it.

Want to find out how a harmless little virus becomes flesh-eating bacteria? What it does to the human body when it's 'Eureka style'? Then don't miss this finale episode on February 11!

Wolf Lake is also having it's finale this week, although in this Lou Diamond Phillips starrer, it's the end of the end. If you haven't been able to see this series yet, it is imperative you at least see this final episode. It's one of THE most entertaining shows you'll see - intrigue, horror - and humour!

Find out about the scares and the hairs, on Friday at 8.30pm. Encore Saturday at 6.30pm

And what's our Valentine's Day movie?

None other than your friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man! With great power, comes great responsibility, and with the Green Goblin comes flying pumpkin bombs. Catch it at midday and 10.15pm, on Sunday the 14th.
