Mad Max to Launch Australian Film Festival - with original cast and crew!

In a couple of weeks Sydneysiders will have the chance to see the classic Aussie Apocalyptic Sci Fi Sensation (A.A.S.F.S.) Mad Max as it kicks the Australian Film Festival. Dr George Miller's classic film is basically one of the building blocks of Australian film. If you haven't seen it, you're yet to be truly called a Sci Fi fan, a film fan, or an Australian. For thirty years, this movie held a record in The Guinness Book of Records as the highest profit-to-cost ratio of a motion picture ever, conceding only in 2009 to Paranormal Activity.

Whilst it will be cool to see Max Rockatansky (Mel Gibson) get a little hot under the collar (!) on the back roads of the future on the big screen, what is going to be super super cool is the fact that some of the iconic actors and crewmembers from the legendary film will be live on stage to answer your questions!

It's a classic Popcorn Taxi night. Catch up with Cundalini, The Toecutter, Goose, Fifi, Johnny the Boy, Grant Page (the greatest stuntman ever) and a huge, huge guest to be confirmed!
