If You See One Documentary This Year...

'The People Vs George Lucas' has made a splash on the internet, due, perhaps, to the global domination of Star Wars. One wonders, actually, if George had just gone on to a different movie after his big hit, American Graffiti.

Imagine, say, if Howard the Duck had been a hit? (imagine!) We'd all be fluffing about with wise-cracking, cigar-smoking ducks, and complaining about how in the second trilogy a mallard called Ka Ka Klinks ruined it for everyone...

Still, that's an alternate reality. We'll go back there some other day.

In the meantime, let us face up to this reality, and the fan lovefury that exists around Star Wars and its creator George Lucas. The film will soon get it's debut at the South West Film Festival, and after that we can only hope, worldwide distribution.
