Alaina Huffman on Skype. SGU's Radiant Blonde Star Tells All!

Of all the actors that are fast becoming Stargate Universe fan favourites, Alaina Huffman, the statuesque blonde who plays Lt. Tamara Johansen, is quickly finding favour not just for her complex and crucial role as the ship's stranded medic, but for her bright and engaging manner off screen.

We thought we'd try to give you a 'right there' feel with a Skype interview, and let Alaina's natural, unforced radiance speak for itself. In this interview she discusses how she catches the train to work with co-star Elyse Levesque (!), how she's finding working with the other actors, and how she's juggling motherhood and a full time Sci Fi acting schedule.

Oh - and she's pregnant.

Congratulations to her, of course, but what will that mean for the SGU plot? Will the writers weave her pregnancy into the show, and if so - who will be the father? Intriguing stuff, especially considering the history of Stargate cast pregnancies...
