Transformers - Knowing is Half the Battle!

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen will soon be with us in theatres. What with Michael Bay's rampant 'gigantism' of bigger bots, bigger explosions and bigger action, it's easy to forget the humble origins of the Transformers as Saturday morning cartoons used to sell toys to unsuspecting kiddies (still, awesome toys though) and how much love they engendered.

We've stumbled across some PSAs (public service announcements) that came out with the original show, which are both touching and awesome. Themes include 'don't steal cars' (c'mon kids, you know it's bad for you) and 'don't jump to conclusions' (because girls CAN skateboard!)

And remember - knowing is half the battle!
