Official Apology for the Existence of Jar Jar Binks

You saw Episode 1,2 and 3. You didn't even give them roman numerals you were that disappointed. You were shocked at the young people and how they could accept this new world of Star Wars.

But you knew, no matter how much of a nice chap Ahmed Best might be, you HATED Jar Jar.

Officially the most annoying creature of all time, poor old Jar Jar is now encased in carbonite at Lucasfilm headquarters in San Francisco.

Could anything make up for this?

You were probably thinking you were safe when you said 'no'.

But you were wrong. The good people at the George Factory (the Lucasarts division) have been putting together the finishing touches to their new game Star Wars: The Old Republic, which got some pretty good buzz at E3.

It is quite simply one of the most awesome Star Wars things to exist, ever - including ESB. It's as though someone had gone over the events of the first three films and said 'hey, let's give this another go'. The results are spectacular, if set a wee bit before the time we've seen in the films (thousands of years).

Whatever the game ends up being, this trailer 'Deceived' will still be awesome.

The game will be an online MMORPG, set three hundred years after the events of highly successful game, Knights of the Old Republic. You can join in an online galaxy and play as either Sith, Jedi or other Star Wars roles. Soon, a Sci Fi fan will be able to exist online in either the Star Trek, Stargate or Star Wars universes. Reality is seriously under threat.

The Single Greatest Star Wars Micro Moment EVER!

There was that one time when I saw The Empire Strikes back, and Han is just about to be lowered into the Carbon Chamber, and Leia says 'I love you' and he says 'I know'. Well that is exactly what some people will think is the best moment ever (especially if they exchanged those phrases as wedding vows), but for true Sci Fi fans, there's a deeper level of awesome that stems from Star Wars micro-moments. Like Yoda getting all evil and saying 'You will be, you willll beee" in ESB. Or C-3PO's double take when Han won't let him speak on Hoth. or even "I'm nice people".
