Lego Vipers, Raptors and Raiders

Awesomeness continues to be awesome.

Not only is there a thing in the universe called 'Brickcon', which is the gathering of people who enjoy building Lego models far beyond the 7+ recommendation on the side of the box, but recently the convention has been overwhelmed by Battlestar Galactica fanatics - providing a landscape of 35 Vipers (most, of course the iconic Mark II's) as well as a nice collection of Raptors, Cylon Raiders and brilliantly reconstructed versions of the Battlestar Galactica's hangar deck.

It's a celebration of the joy of youth and the excellence of human imagination.

Here are some great pics to give you a sense of the excellence:

Let's go kill some frakkin' toasters! heeyugh!

Loading up some ordinance from Ragnar Anchorage.

Just think - none of these parts were made for BSG related Lego. Ingenius.

"They look like some kind of flying can-opener!"

BSG's coolest ship, ever. The carbon composite Blackbird. Nice.

Four Mark II Vipers ready for launch!
