The people at Dreamworks are preparing to go into the 3D animation with a sense of panache - with their upcoming Monsters Vs Aliens.
The Earth (actually it's the US, as per) is under attack (again) by aliens and the only hope that the military has of defeating the nasty space aliens is by unleashing the awesome power of Earth's monsters, lead by a 50 ft woman, and including a gelatinous blob, a giant and rather nervous centipede, a 20000 year old fish man and an insectoid mad scientist (obviously).
Looks like it's going to be a lot of fun, spoofing the B-movie Sci Fi of the 50's, in much the same tone as Pixar's The Incredibles.
