Fanboys is the ultimate Star Wars geekathon, and will be released in theatres in the US on February the 6th, 2009.

It tells the story of a group of friends, all equally obsessed with Star Wars and all equally thrilled about the upcoming release of Star Wars: Episode 1.

Ah, innocent times.

It's a road trip and a heist movie all rolled into the biggest geek-out you could possibly imagine, as the boys set out to steal Episode One from Skywalker Ranch itself.

This looks to be something that no Star Wars-literate Sci Fi fan can pass up.

We've got two versions of the poster (one obviously parodying Star Wars, the other, The 40 Year Old Virgin) as well as the trailer and a groovy 'behind the scenes' montage that gives you a good idea of the kind of droids they are looking for.

Starring Seth Rogen, Kristen Bell, William Shatner, Billy Dee Williams, Jay Baruchel, Dan Fogler, Carrie Fisher, Ethan Suplee, Kevin Smith and William Katt, it looks like we don't stand a chance against firepower of that magnitude.
