This week it's a week of classic Sci Fi on SCI FI, with some new spins on classic stories and some must-see episodes from classic shows!

First up, on Monday night is the 1988 version of The Blob. With great special effects (in the days before CGI), this remake of the 1958 classic (starring Steve McQueen) stars Kevin Dillon and Shawnee Smith (from Becker and Saw) who have to deal with a much faster, more voracious blob in a film that really relishes it's genre foundations. Do yourself a favour and discover a film that is as fun as it is disconcerting - The Blob, on Tuesday Oct 21, at 10.20pm

It's a week of classic episodes of landmark Sci Fi, and you'll have to make sure you see the weird and sometimes completely twisted Lexx, just after midnight on Wednesday the 22nd. The episode is Lafftrack, and has the crew of the Lexx stuck in a TV planet - where they must perform, entertain and gain ratings - or die. Prurient teenage Sci Fi fantasies and sharp sociological comments meet in this always eye-opening show. Do make the effort, and be rewarded with something completely different, on Lexx Wednesday Oct 22 at 12.10am.

If you haven't been watching our weekday screenings of Voyager at 6.30pm each night, take a long hard look at yourself and perhaps take this Thursday and Friday to remind you just how cool this far flung crew of Starfleet's finest can be. Thursday the 23rd and Friday the 24th, it's Scorpion Part 1 and Scorpion Part 2 - the two parter that literally turned the entire Voyager series around with the introduction of none other than 7 of 9.

If you've never seen the show in detail and always wondered how a tall pneumatic blond in skin-tight Lycra managed to get on board - now's your chance! An epic, gripping saga, and a fine acting performance show that Jeri Ryan is more than just one of Sci Fi's Glamazons. Make sure you catch Voyager, 6.30pm, weekdays, and especially this Thursday and Friday!

When it comes to classic, it's pretty hard to go past Terminator 2 for guaranteed Sci Fi fun. It's our weekend whopper, on Sunday, October 26 at 12.30pm and 11pm. Relive the Guns'n'Roses-fuelled glory of this hi-octane thriller with such classic moments as Siobhan Fallon does 'foster mum impales annoying dad through milk carton' and the ever delightful but always creepy 'nice bike' from the then newcomer, Robert Patrick.

If you want to sell stuff through www.scifitv.com.au, we can put you in touch with marketing!)
