SETH ROGEN SAYS GREEN HORNET WILL BE FUNNY, BUT PERHAPS NOT FUNNY FUNNY
In what looks to be a pretty gutsy move, Seth Rogen, star of such films as Knocked Up and writer of Superfly has chatted with a view people about working on the script, including AICN. Here's what he had to say.

"One day we want to make a serious film and then Stephen Chow comes in with a good idea and we're like, 'Well it's funny.' Should we not do it because we originally wanted to do a serious film? We come from, nah fuck it, we'll just take the idea that seems good."

"It’s like a comedic TAXI DRIVER."

Could be a real left turn for the superhero genre.

TERRENCE HOWARD FIRED FROM IRON MAN 2 - SPEAKS

Terrence Howard, who recently lost his role of 'Rhodey' Rhodes and the opportunity to be War Machine, seemed to be just as surprised about it as we were, in a recent US TV interview:

NPR: You've played pimps. Is there a difference between their business principals and the ones in Hollywood?

TH: No. Promises aren't kept, and good-faith negotiations aren't always held up. You know? Even friendships, people you support. When it comes down to it, the only true support you have is the work that you've done — the laurels of your work and the ethics by which you stand.

Don Cheadle has been slated as his replacement - for now.

SARAH CONNOR CHRONICLES LIVE ON

In a bold yet heartening move for Science Fiction fans, a Sci Fi show has escaped cancellation despite less than stellar ratings. A full news season of the show has been ordered by Fox Television in the US. So it well, ere, 'be back'!

DANIEL CRAIG WILL NOT PLAY THOR
In an LA press conference only moments ago to promote Quantum of Solace, James Bond Daniel Craig had to deflect the possibility that he would play Thor in the upcoming Kenneth Brannagh Marvel movie. IESB's Robert Sanchez asked if Craig was interested in doing something a little different character-wise, like Thor?

Craig said no, he turned it down and laughed about it.

Sanchez continued, “seriously, I heard the folks over at Marvel had you on a short list to be Thor.”

Craig said yes they did approach him but he turned it down. He added jokingly, it would have been too much of a power trip, both Bond and Thor, and running around with long hair and a hammer.
