Featuring interviews with all the key creatives (and the star, Rosario Dawson) the videos look at The Cast, The Creatives, The Editing, The Shooting, the amazing Special Effects and of course, just what exactly Gemini Division is.

Death Race Review

Released Oct 30
Starring Jason Statham, Joan Allen, Ian McShane, Tyrese Gibson Natalie Martinez
Director Paul W.S. Anderson
Rated MA 15 +

This film truly puts the car into carnage!

If you think that Paul WS Anderson is an unsung hero then this will probably another fine Sci-Fi film for you. If you do enjoy complex plots and characters with meaningful violence and believable scenarios, then perhaps this may not be your cup of tea. If you're looking for something that resembles a gigantic, rather bloody driving game, then you have hit nirvana.

Star Wars Dollar Bill Origami

People sometimes say that Americans and/or Sci Fi fans are a little bit 'special'. Or to put it more bluntly, scarily, dangerously nuts. We of course disagree, and say that diversity and unique creativity are the things in life that make life interesting, and in fact, make those people far more interesting than the drone-like masses who ignore both their inner child and of course, Science Fiction. At their peril. For they miss out on the joy of life that comes with Star Wars Dollar Bill Origami.

Eureka Coming To Sci Fi Oz - And In Real Life - To QLD!

In a strange and wonderful 'life mimics art' moment, the University of Queensland is planning on building a Eureka style town on the fringe of western Brisbane. The Courier Mail reports that the University is seeking approval from Brisbane City Council and the Queensland State Government to build a township for around 10,000 people - where up to 4500 elite scientists from around the globe can gather and invent things that probably and hopefully won't blow us all up, like that dastardly Large Hadron Collider and its plans for world domination via black hole replication.

Indiana Jones And The Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull DVD/Blu-Ray Review

Released Oct 30
Starring Harrison Ford, Karen Allen, Cate Blanchett, Shia LeBeouf, Ray Winstone, John Hurt
Directed by Steven Spielberg
Rated M

Now that the dust has settled and Indy 4 has gone on to absolutely massive worldwide success, it seems almost pointless to review a DVD where almost everyone has seen it, and if they haven't seen it on the big screen, then the time has come to make the plunge into the world of DVD and Blu-ray.

The Very First Stargate Universe Concept Art

The third series in the remarkably successful Stargate franchise, Stargate Universe, will begin shooting February 4 for a Northern hemisphere summer 2009 premiere on the US SCI FI Channel. With Stargate Atlantis finishing strongly and the Stargate : SG1 movies selling spectacularly, the groundswell support for Universe is strong among the fans. There's also quite the 'what will the come up with next? quotient to the fan speculation for Universe as the bare detials eeked out by Stargate uber-honcho, Brad Wright, reveal little more than a human crew stuck on an ancient vessel far far far far far far away from Earth.

Harry Potter And The Half Blood Prince Trailer!

In a world simply brimming with movie franchises there seems to be one that chugs along quite happily without 'overhype' whilst retaining a high level of quality. The kids of today are growing up with Harry Potter (quite literally) and have been afforded the rare pleasure of seeing their epic saga translated to the big screen without a twenty year gap.

Thus a rare frisson runs through the internet as Harry's latest movie pokes its nose out with a teaser. Have a look:
