With the SCI FI Forum alive with talk of retro Sci Fi, it seemed only sweet and fitting to scour the net for good examples or trailers of some classic Sci Fi of yesteryear.
The thing that really strikes you when you look upon these clips is, firstly, just how tremendous genre theme music can be, and secondly (but more importantly) just how thin the line between Sci Fi TV themes and bass-slapping porn stylin' really is.
Wafer thin.
Enjoy the goodness, and for those who have never seen anything even remotely like this before, now you can begin to understand what all those fogies are going on about.
Lost In Space!
Irwin Allen knows how to sah-wing babee!
The Time Tunnel!
Is that? Yes it is, Deep Space Nine fans! James Darrin. Apparently the only thing needed to send us back in time - firecrackers.
Space:1999!
Wacka wackoah! Awww yeah! Made by the man who gave the world The Thunderbirds, Gerry Anderson.

Freeekeee TEETH - coming to get meeeeeeee!
UFO!
This just has to be the most perfect concoction of outfits, technology and theme music ever. It's the retro trailer version of a home run.
The Prisoner!
Patrick McGoohan got stuck in a place where reality was shackled and the big question was - who is number one? And number two? - that was Leo McKern!
The Twilight Zone!
Rod Serling's classic series was so successful the name of the show entered the dictionary. Here's an extremely young (and Nazified) Dennis Hopper getting a little bit more than he bargained for.
Lost in Space - Black & White First Season!
Something for the purists, who love that original Season One theme song. A touch of Saul Bass to it all, really.
And for something so bizarre, yet 'of the time', the unforgettable - Raquel Welch, space dancing! Look upon these works ye mighty and despair.
One woman dances, good, two dudes with bad headpieces helping her out, better.
