For all those who have newly signed up on our Forum, why not 'pop in' tonight for a bit of a digital 'meet and greet'?
We'll be setting up a HELLO thread in GENERAL DISCUSSION, for anyone who wants to get acquainted with other SCI FI buffs and some of our more regular Forum posters.
It's a good chance to make connections, find out some info on shows you love and perhaps share some of those classic Sci Fi moments - or even some deep dark Sci Fi secrets!
The SCI FI Forum has all sorts of threads, covering all our shows, new movies and it even gets a bit deep and meaningful when discussions turn to the future of genetic engineering or the meaning of 'life, the universe and everything' (apparently, still 42!).
It's also a great place to meet people you have absolutely nothing in common with - except SCI FI!
So, the official kick off time for our HELLO thread will be 8.30pm to 10.30pm, tonight, Wednesday the 9th of July. Just post to say Hello, start a chat, say something about yourself or just join in the fun.
(And, from 9.30pm, you can even ask The Captain some questions. Who will answer them as best he can!)

Okay, here's that thread where you pop online and say 'Hello', introduce yourself and then chat about whatever takes your fancy. There may be some other threads in our Forum that will give you some ideas! It's all meant to be relaxed and casual, so if you get on before 8.29pm, that's okay - and if you keep chatting until after 10.31 - well that's fine too! Enjoy - and Hello!
