As Battlestar Galacitica's fourth and final season prepares to air its final ten episodes in the US, more than 3,000 props, costumes, memorabilia and other items from SCI FI Channel's original series will be auctioned off. Only problem for Aussies - they're in Los Angeles.

Going under the hammer - the uniform worn by Admiral William Adama (Edward James Olmos) and a life-sized Cylon Centurion costume. And this is only the tip of the frakking toaster!

NBC Universal and Propworx will conduct two live auctions in Los Angeles, along with a series of Internet auctions coinciding with the airing of the show's final 10 episodes, which starts in early 2009. Gots to get in on that action!

Items that will be available to purchase include the flight suits worn by Starbuck (Katee Sackhoff) and Apollo (Jamie Bamber), several life-sized Vipers and Raptors and Cylon Raiders and pieces of the Combat Information Center (CIC). Hands up anyone who could do with a life-sized Viper for the front yard!

Perhaps one could do the traditional Bond movie 'anonymous caller' and snap up Bill Adama's sailing ship, some groovy octagonal paper or even a half-chewed Starbuck cigar.

No news yet on Saul Tighe's eyepatch. Even less on Roslin's wig.
