SCI FI PI

This week sees the old and the new and the new old and the old new, which is pretty cool, (and slightly bizarre) but what you'd expect, from SCI FI.

Once again our gentle viewers must endure the onslaught of the weird and wonderful world of SCI FI originals, as they continue their delightful dance across our screens. This week continues with Boo, screening on Tuesday night at 10.30pm and Wednesday at 1pm.

Boo has a great premise - a patient is trying to escape a mental institution - but he's already the dead! It's a problem, to be sure, and won't be easily resolved. Get ready for keerraaazzy fun!

Tuesday is also chockablock with X-Files goodness, as the beginning of a month-long celebration of X-Files: I Want to Believe, the X-Files movie getting ready to return to the big screen on July 24. Whilst the weeks countdown, and the tension builds up, console yourself with three episodes in a row, every Tuesday lunchtime from 1pm.

When it comes to SCI FI classics, there's no denying the light-hearted action extravaganza that is Stargate: SG-1.

Fiinally, after a long wait - it's here - Season 10!

That's right. The final climactic season of one of SCI FI's most beloved series will be screening every Friday night at 7.30pm, beginning this Friday, July 4. Find out just how SG-1 will face down the Ori in what seems the most impossible circumstances. Look out for Julian Sands, Morena Baccarin and the Stargate: Atlantis crew as the team travel beyond our galaxy to defend earth against the remorseless Ori. Make sure you get into the groove before the outstanding and eclectic 200th episode, and whatever you do, don't think abut missing the mind-bending SG-1 finale. SG-1 has given the world a decade of quality - and it's finished with a flourish! Get to know the Ori, and get to know the team that takes the next step into The Ark of Truth and Continuum.

If you're looking for even more cool stuff (and why shouldn't you?, it's SCI FI!) then check out yet another SCI FI original, this week, on Saturday at 1.30pm and 10.50pm. It's Alien Siege, starring none other than Carl Weathers and sees earth face up to the invading Kulku, who'll leave us all alone - if we 'donate' 8 million humans for their blood bank. It's a little bit V, but it's a whole lot of fun! Don't miss the action, this Saturday. It's a great way to say 'hi!' to July.
