This month shall hitherto be known as Joyous June on SCI FI Australia, as a slew of excellent programming (and some nifty new extras on our website) makes this Winter start off with warm fuzzy feelings that go all the way down to your toes.

So curl up on the couch, slip into your (ladies please, enough's enough) indoor-only Ugg boots, place the remote on 132 and then shove it gently between some cushions.

SCI FI is your home now. Welcome.

Joyous June kicks off with a heck of a week. Wednesday sees the return of Medium (everyone's favourite not quite 'sci fi' Sci Fi show) that has Patricia Arquette once more attempting to bridge that rather tricky gap between the dead, the living, and criminal behaviour. Season 2 premieres on Wednesday at 8.30pm.

As one Season 2 begins, another ends - make sure you clear any and all possible activity on Wednesday at 10.30pm - it's the beginning of the two-part mind-explosion that is the end of Battlestar Galactica Season 2. It's pretty fair to say that these two episodes, and what they set out to do (and accomplish!) are as amazing an experience as you can have watching television. What you thought a TV show can do, you will have to reassess. What you thought was permitted on television in terms of storytelling, you will gently shove out the window. Season 2 of BSG is pretty amazing, but it is the final episodes that will literally blow your mind as you sit there scratching your head and wondering if you just saw what you did.

If you tune in this Wednesday (and next Wednesday!) at 10.30pm, you will be able to say 'yes, yes I did'.

If that isn't enough to get you excited about this week's SCI FI, Thursday night sees the series that has fans literally going NUTS - Jericho!

In a massive triple, triple treat, you'll be able to catch the first three episodes in a back-to-back block three times in the coming days - no longer will you not be able to 'get into' Jericho because you missed the first eps!

See what has fans the world over so excited about in this apocalyptic 'what if' set in small-town America, starring Skeet Ulrich.

Screening times on SCI FI for Jericho are as follows:

Thursday June 5, 7.30pm, 8.20pm and 9.10pm.
Friday June 6, 1pm, 1.50pm and 2.40pm.
Sunday June 8, 5pm, 5.50pm and 6.40pm.

And that's just the first week of June! More new programming (cool stuff, promise) will be popping up this month (and in the coming months) in what looks to be the hottest winter ever, on SCI FI. Enjoy!

JERICHO - would the end of the world really be the end of the world?

If they finally did push the button, would we be worse off, or in a twisted way, be better off?
