With the upcoming Quantum of Solace looking better and better (you did see our behind the scenes vids, surely?) the good people from James Bond Movies Are Totally Awesome Even If They're Not Strictly Sci Fi are proud to announce that the good stuff from the Broccolli farm is coming to you in 2008 in the sheer unadulterated power of the Blu-ray device.

And you'll have plenty of time to prepare, too - they won't be out until November, which, oddly enough, is also the same month that Quantum of Solace will be released theatrically.

We smells a plot!

The first cabs off the rank, are surprisingly, not the first six of the Bond movies, Obsessive compulsive get-the-movies-in-order fans now have permission to whack themselves repeatedly in the side of the head with the palm of their hand.

So what will the Bond fan be getting come Doctor No-vember?

DR. NO (of course!), DIE ANOTHER DAY, LIVE AND LET DIE, FOR YOUR EYES ONLY, FROM RUSSIA WITH LOVE and THUNDERBALL.

Not a bad lineup, with Connery, Moore and Brosnan all represented. CASINO ROYALE, in case you weren't sure, has already been released on Blu-ray. So the only non-Blu-rayed Bond left is Lazenby (and Niven and Sellers and Allen if you want to be picky).

November 12 is when it all happens, if you have a Bond diary that needs some highlighting. Until then, stay tuned for any updated and mighty cool trailers and behinds the scenes stuff that may come our way.
