With all these superhero movies flying about it's important to get some perspective - with yet another superhero movie!
But wait, there's something slightly different about this one - "look up in the sky, it's a bird, it's a plane, its a... a... a homeless person. Oh."
The plot has Smith as a superhero fallen on hard times, who saves agent Jason Bateman - who vows to get his 'career' back on track. But then there's the wife...
This is going to be the mother of all 'tightrope walks' as director Peter Berg and star Will Smith attempt not to cross the line into 'ha ha, being homeless is so funny!' Will it be of the same ilk as 1986's 'Down and Out in Beverly Hills' or is it more about celebrity excess? Hard to tell, but with Berg's track record including 'The Kingdom' there looks to be plenty of action ahead of us. Although the 'yucks' may trade into 'message' a bit much - still, one thing's for sure, the trailer looks pretty cool.
Hancock will be out in Oz theatres on July 3.

Should've signed on for MIB:3...
