It's a week of contrasts, of emotions, of mysteries and of high tension this week on SCI FI.
If you're tuning in Monday (and you are, c'mon!) make sure to take in one of the most fascinating Star Trek:TNG episodes ever. Basically, if you're not a heavy TNG fan, this is one of the most mysterious experiences - because the crew has... changed. For no reason. Why? How? Eventually, of course, all will be revealed, but it's a classic Sci Fi moment, without a doubt, and a heck of an episode. What's it called? Conundrum, of course! Tune in April 21, midday and 6.30pm.
Tuesday the 22nd sees Buffy go up against the master in the classic Season 1 episode, Prophecy Girl, where she must sacrifice herself to save the world (as per usual). So much fun - but how do you die and still manage to save the day? Another mystery, but par for the course this week on SCI FI.
Thursday is a triple treat of Heroes (excellent news for Hero-addicts, you know who you are!) which sees far more questions asked as we think they're being answered. Look out for Christopher Eccleston (Dr Who) as an invisible man. The story is really starting to cook, the spices are being added, and the characters are now really in the stew! Some great fun, but you'll be ghasping for more at the end of it! Soon, soon, the mystery of the Haitian will be revealed.
Speaking of ghasping, oxygen is one of the key themes for our Sunday night movie, Apollo 13. Ron Howard's classic, starring Tom Hanks as poor old Jim Lovell, leader of the ill-fated moon mission that brought an entire planet together as a small team of men struggled against impossible odds, distances and the harshness of space to survive. Great performances from Hanks, Gary Sinise and Ed Harris makes this a classic adventure among the stars, and a must see.
Makes sure you catch it, Saturday, April 26 at 1.30pm, 11pm and Sunday, April 27 at 12.30pm .
