Go Speed Racer!
The Wachowski Brothers are back, and rumour has it, are back better than ever. Speed Racer is a remake of the classic Japanese anime (before it was called anime) that some of our older SF fans may remember growing up with early on Saturday mornings (or occasionally as part of the after school double with Marine Boy).
Brrrrrmmmm!
What makes this cartoon to live action transition so unique is that it's actually still a cartoon - all the crazy over the top acting, voices and colours, but with live actors. As you can see in the trailer, the CGI looks terrific, and the action scenes should be intense. Look out for the film in Oz in June.

JCm says:I'm an old fan of speed racer, but i'll have to say to say if its too cartoonish you will lose alot of your fans. We are use to our childhood shows being real now. wont stop me from seeing it thought :o) -
