Imagine World of Warcraft, meets Eve, meets... er, Star Trek! With all new ships, races and planets, the Star Trek Universe will constantly challenge the explorer in you, whilst also giving you the chance to walk around must-see spots like Starfleet Academy, Vulcan and perhaps even Risa.

You might even settle on your own M-class planet, or if you re successful as a trader, you might even be able to buy your own moon, Ferengi style.

The coolest aspect of the game that the developers are talking about is the constant expansion of the Star Trek universe. Literally. New planets and tracts of space will be updated to the universe until the big crunch, meaning you truly will be able top live long and prosper.
