XBOX 360, Wii, PS3, Nintendo DS

Lego Star Wars is just plain fun. Anyone who plays it has a huge smile across their face. Relive the glory days of the original trilogy and then deal with the last (or first) three films, but now with a song in your heart as every character is transformed into a blocky little Lego man. The more evil, the more funny, yet there’s no cynicism to the way the game play or characters or action has been designed.

One nice feature is the reward system, where if you complete a level successfully you collect the Lego bricks to build your virtual Lego Star Wars models. Geeky? Perhaps, but you’re the one who bought Lego Star Wars. The Xbox 360 and the PS3 allow two player online co-op play, and both these new platforms give the high-res graphics a chance to shine.
If you’ve played Star Wars Lego before, look out for new playable characters Watto, Zam Wesell and Boss Nass, new levels, new puzzles increased Force powers and new power –ups. A real crowd pleaser.
